For more than 38+ years, the company has been providing engineering consultancy and geotechnical advice to clients across residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects throughout Australia. What began as a laboratory testing service has grown into a well-established practice delivering practical, technically sound solutions supported by decades of experience.

A significant development in the company’s history was the integration of GeoSense Drilling. GeoSense was founded and managed by Mr James Zhao since its stablishment in 2016 and operated successfully for more than ten years under his management before becoming part of the STS Group. This integration created a fully coordinated service offering, combining engineering consultancy with in-house drilling and field investigation capabilities.

Throughout its history, STS has benefited from long-serving team members who have contributed across both technical and operational roles. This continuity has helped maintain consistent standards and deep industry knowledge within the business. Today, under the leadership of Mr Mrigesh as General Manager of the STS Group (STS Geotechnics and GeoSense), the company continues to deliver geotechnical, environmental, and drilling services with the stability and experience built over nearly five decades.
